Parks & Nursery
Development of this site provides the opportunity to implement improvements that would benefit the community. The City is planning this project in an effort to provide a community park to this area. This is an exciting opportunity since funding for such a project through the Parks Department is not available at this time. The community park will initially include open recreation fields, walking trails, and picnic areas.
The City is also proposing to relocate its landscape nursery to this site. The nursery is where trees and plants are cultivated for the beautification of City roads around town. The presence of the nursery will serve to supplement the landscape buffers provided around the site, enhancing overall aesthetics.
